• Juli + Keith's Nantucket Elopement.

Juli and Keith were married by his sister on her father's boat just yesterday afternoon! It was the simplest, sweetest ceremony. We followed it with a boat ride with their families out to Brant Point and then cruised around the island for portraits. I had a really nice time getting to know these two, and taking them to many of my favorite Nantucket nooks.

• Courtney + Joe Fournier's Providence Wedding.

Courtney and Joe were married Saturday at St Dominic's Chapel in Providence College with a reception following at The Providence Biltmore Hotel. Courtney is my sister's best friend's sister, so of course I was more than happy to travel to Providence for her wedding to Joe! Trust me, it takes something special for me to trek out and navigate that crazy city...

• Elizabeth + David Catarious's 'Sconset Wedding.

Elizabeth and David were married Saturday at the 'Sconset Chapel with a dinner reception at The Chanticleer. The red theme was carried over from the bridesmaids dresses, to the bouquets by Soiree Floral, the centerpieces and the stamps on the cake by Jodi's Cakes. Luckily it cooled down enough for a walk around 'Sconset for portraits!

• Burton Family 2010, Nantucket Family Portrait.

This is the Burton family's 3rd year in front of my lens. I'm positively gaga about Gramercy, the little sweetheart! We lucked out with a perfect beach day. A little breeze on the south shore and a sunny day never hurt anyone. :)

• Mary + Adam's Nantucket Wedding at Great Harbor Yacht Club.

Mary and Adam threw a really fun wedding at Great Harbor Yacht Club on Friday. It is a gorgeous spot for ceremonies overlooking Nantucket Harbor. The reception room is nice and big, and decorated really well. I highly recommend it. Honestly, I didn't want to leave. It was one of those receptions where I could dance while shooting, and really, what's better than that?! Everyone was fabulous and so nice, I really enjoyed myself, as I know the whole party did.

• Kelly + Todd and Baby Reid Makes 3.

I photographed Kelly and Todd's wedding a couple years ago, and now they're back on Nantucket with their beautiful 3 month old. He's one sweet, happy little baby and is pretty much his daddy's twin. ;) I think this is a record year for my former wedding clients having babies! Love it.

• Sarah + Alex's Nantucket Engagement Session in 'Sconset.

Sarah and Alex are getting married this September in 'Sconset. We took the opportunity of beautiful weather, colorful gardens, gorgeous light and a pretty sunset, to photograph their vintage inspired engagement session. Gorgeous couple, aren't they?!

• Nantucket Arts Council Shakespeare Festival 2010.

On June 24th, The Nantucket Arts Council presented another successful Shakespeare Festival with a silent auction and The Tempest performed by Seaside Shakespeare. The locals that attend really get into the spirit of Shakespeare. Beverly Hall's Hither Creek Garden is one of my very favorite treasures on Nantucket. I have spent a lot of time there over the last couple years and it's always breathtaking, especially the sunset views. Not to mention that she's also one of my favorite people. This was a special one, as Beverly will be taking a break from hosting the event next year.
