• ShootStyle Workshop, Michelle Turner Posing, Ogunquit Maine.

This past weekend, ShootStyle held a workshop on posing led by Michelle Turner. We had a great turnout of participants and models and even the temperamental spring weather held up for us. Michelle went over her basics for posing couples in an environmental portrait. We had a blast!

Here are some of my favorites from the ShootStyle workshop.

The participants scaled some rough Maine terrain.

Of course I couldn't help myself and had to shoot details of the Stonecrop Gallery, which was our hub for the day. Our next workshop will be in May in the Boston area. Check out the ShootStyle blog or Facebook page for more info soon!

A shot of mine from Michele and Mark's White Elephant wedding for Nantucket Island Resorts (the big background spread) and one from Carey and Rob's Nantucket wedding also at the White Elephant were published in the recent issue of Boston Weddings Magazine. Love it!

• Maternity x 2 Best Friends!

Julie and Krista are best friends and expecting babies 6 weeks apart, fun! The weather's not cooperating lately, but I'm very fortunate to have a nice studio for just this kind of occasion. I worked with Julie ages ago and even photographed her wedding in '05. I love her and her husband Cam to pieces so seeing them about to welcome their first peanut is really special to me. Can't wait to meet the little one and to see both babies become best friends too!

• PUBLISHED :: Brides Chicago Magazine.

Wolcott's Nantucket wedding style was featured in Brides Chicago this month! Alicia and Wolcott's wedding back in 2007 is still one of my favorites. She designed her beautiful dress and his outfit was a last minute decision since his wedding pants did not arrive by the ceremony. But all worked out!

• Epiphanie Bags.

Loving this new camera bag I just bought online from Epiphanie Bags. It's roomy, padded with tight construction and pretty dang cute. I bought the Belle but they also have a red and a brown bag in different shapes/colors. Check them out! I'm planning on using this bag for street shooting, not weddings/portraits since it's too bulky, but I knew that prior to purchasing it.

Just thought I'd share!

Just to see what I could stuff it with, I put in my D3 with a 24mm, 70-200mm, 85mm, 60mm, and 2 sb800s. I wouldn't carry around this much, but it's nice to know that I could!
