• Ava at Stroll '09.

This year Nantucket Stroll was a busy one for me with lots of client meetings and new bookings, both for which I'm super grateful! I did get to enjoy Stroll with Ava a bit too. We bought a tiny little tree and invited Virginia and Lily to come help decorate, (drink gallons of hot chocolate hence the mustaches), and watch Christmas movies. My favorite part of the weekend was taking Ava to see Santa at the ice rink. This was the "real" Santa, not the one we saw earlier in the day in various places. Her little face LIT up every time he came around the rink towards her. I wonder how much longer this wonderment will continue. I hope it's a really long time.

Just another look at my Rome trip last month. We stayed at the Hotel Delle Nazioni which I absolutely recommend for it's central location near the Fontana Di Trevi and very modern rooms.

• Henry L at 18 months, 2nd Year in the Life Collection.

My favorite little big cheeked monkey, Henry, is 18 months! Time really does fly. I've been photographing this family since their Engagement Session and now Brianne and Pete getting ready for baby love #2 this spring!

• Rome in Black and White - Part 1.

I'm finally catching up on life after a ridiculously busy fall season. I had the great opportunity to travel to Rome with 4 great photographers last month. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Frankly, I could live there, if I was Italian, spoke the language and it never rained. ;)
