I will be out of the office, (out of the country!) from Nov 1-17th. I'm off to Rome with a handful of ridiculously awesome photographers until the 12th and up in Maine for another photo retreat with ShootStyle until the 17th. Behave!

Please allow extra time for orders to be processed since I will not be responding to email or voicemail until I return. Orders will return to their regular turnaround times on the 17th.

HOLIDAY DEADLINES for Dec 20th delivery -
I know, it's only October, it's not even Halloween yet. I know. :)

Albums and Books must be designed and approved by November 1st.
Holiday and Thank You card orders must be designed and approved by December 1st.
Canvas orders must be received by November 18th.
Print orders must be received by December 10th.

Rush services are available AFTER I return on the 17th.

• Kelsey + Adam Derby's Nantucket Wedding.

Kelsey and Adam were married last week at The Wauwinet with a dinner reception at Topper's Restaurant. They had an intimate wedding on a gorgeous day under a big blue sky full of amazing autumn clouds. Perfect Nantucket weather!

I met Kelsey at The White Elephant Hotel and took her out to a few select spots for her Bridal Session prior to the ceremony. I wanted to catch some green before everything turned brown for the winter. Little did I know that the theme for their dinner table would be green as well! Nice choice. ;)

Congrats Kelsey and Adam! Thank you for rounding out my wedding season with a very sweet day.

• Brandie + Fred Jowdy's Nantucket Elopement!

Brandie and Fred were married last week at Great Point. We took the scenic drive out to the lighthouse for their ceremony and some portraits. They were witnessed by loads of Harbor and Grey seals!

• Angela + Doug Sheare's Nantucket Wedding.

Doug and Angela were married last week at The Galley. Since they are both bartenders here, the event was a who's who of Nantucket locals, which was so much fun! Angela's dress, shoes and headpiece were amazing and really unique.

• Lauren + Evan Abram's Nantucket Wedding.

Lauren and Evan were married last weekend at St Mary's with the reception following at The White Elephant Hotel.

This was my second of three weddings in a row, and we TOTALLY lucked out with the weather. It threatened to rain everyday, but the skies cleared up right after the ceremony which was perfect timing for portraits at Brant Point.

Lauren and Evan brought so many friends from school out to Nantucket for their wedding. I was so amazed! Their friends' band, JTT, which played during the reception was nothing short of awesome. Stacey and I were floored by their choice in covers. SO good. The Cure, The Monkees, Franz Ferdinand?! Loved it.

• Images for a Cure, Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.

On October 11th, almost 300 photographers nationwide are donating time and session fees to a very worthy cause, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. I'm proud to be a part of Images for a Cure, an amazing group.

****NOTE**** The deadline has been extended to October 18th!

In years past, I have offered Nantucket families twenty minute mini-sessions and a pack of Holiday Cards. This year, the session fees will go to charity, and you will also receive 10 fully edited files for personal prints or to produce your own Holiday Cards. The session fee is $150 and 100% of the proceeds will go directly The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®.

Images will also be placed on your personal gallery online, in case you'd like to order any other products or prints that I offer. The sessions will take place on-location, Nantucket only, between October 18th-23rd, at 4-6pm.

• Hal + Dale, Nantucket Portrait Session.

I met Hal and Dale a few days prior to their amazing Nantucket wedding for a portrait session around downtown. Here are a few faves!

• Hal + Dale Williamson-Leblanc, Nantucket Wedding.

Hal and Dale were married last weekend at the Unitarian Church with a reception following at the Nantucket Whaling Museum. From the moment I spoke with Hal I knew I'd love him and Dale. They are two of the most generous, charitable and good hearted people I have ever worked with.

Living in New Orleans, they took solace during a Nantucket getaway after Hurricane Katrina hit. They celebrated their 25 years together by getting married surrounded by their friends and family, most of whom flew great miles to be here. I felt truly blessed to meet such a warm, friendly and fun bunch of people. There was so much love all around.

I have many more images to share of their week on Nantucket, but I'm going to go backwards and start with the wedding. It deserves to be first. :)
