Declan had a great birthday party with a pony, games, lots of friends and cake! I donated the party photography for the Nantucket S.T.A.R Program fundraiser. Little did I know, the party would be full of little boys that I know through Ava, and that I've photographed many times before. Bonus!

• Julie + Will Gibbons, Nantucket Wedding, Part 2.

Here's Part 2 of Julie and Will's wedding on the Nantucket Sound - the ceremony on through.

The setting for Julie and Will's wedding was picture perfect, white sand with pink rose petals, overlooking blue water and a crisp sky to match. The sunset to follow was icing on the wedding cake.

Mike Benjamin and his band were really great. They're from Martha's Vineyard and I hope they trek over here for more of my weddings! Eithne and the Nantucket Catering Company served up a delicious feast as always.

The night ended with a sparkler send-off. Julie and Will were last seen leaving on their boat.... hope they made it to their honeymoon safely! :)

• Julie + Will Gibbons, Nantucket Wedding, Part 1.

Julie and Will were married Saturday at his family's home on the Nantucket Sound. Julie looked absolutely beautiful in her gown. The day was perfect, even the impending rain stayed away.

My good friend and talented photographer, Earl Christie joined me. He shot tight, while I pulled back. He photographed the men, while I was with the ladies. While I was working with the wedding party on the formals, he was documenting the cocktail hour. Having a second photographer with me is fantastic. It's literally like having 2 extra arms, 2 extra cameras, 2 extra eyes. ;)
