Beth and Jimi's wedding reception in Killington Vermont was one big reunion of their friends and family from the east coast. Since they now live in Santa Barbara and got married in Costa Rica, the reception was a great way to celebrate with those they don't see often enough.

Since I've known and loved Beth and Jimi for many years, from when we all lived in Killington, it was a fun reunion for me as well. Our friends Phil and Joy Black hosted the event at their beautiful home. I brought Ava along to enjoy the hills and greenery and to finally meet the Black's awesome kids.

Let's set the scene.

It's been so long since I've seen Duad, that his hair's now longer than mine.

Jimi's just a big kid.

An unfortunate grammatical error on the invites turned into the running joke. Thank goodness for their sense of humor!

The kids had a blast. Dirty feet = good time.

Ava was in her element with all the creepy critters.

She was even more at home on the dance floor. My little breakdancer!

I love it when kids show off for me. Tristan especially, because he's so stickin' cute.
