The Smith Family came out to Nantucket this week to get away from the Tennessee heat. We thought we had it hot and humid here!?

• Not Impressed: Email issues.

Thank you .mac mail for erasing my entire Inbox. Apparently I'm one of the 1% who lost mail due to their updating for the new iPhones, or whatever. I'm not impressed.

To all you .mac mail users, be sure to sort your Inbox into separate mailboxes. Don't just leave them sitting in your Inbox because you never know if you're next.

If I haven't responded to an email since yesterday, it's because I never got it. I'm really sorry for this inconvenience. My emails will now be processed through another mail provider for the time being. As shunned upon as AOL.com always is for mail, they have never once lost one single email on me, in 10 years. Go figure.

Until this problem is resolved, I give .mac mail, or .me mail, whatever it is they are calling themselves these days, a big thumbs down and a raspberry.

• Jennifer + Nick Askinazi's Wedding

Jen and Nick were married Saturday at Our Lady's Parish in Newton, MA with their reception following at the Westin Waltham.

Jen and Nick are friends of mine, so I was psyched that my BFF Kirian was a bridesmaid! We make 30 look good, don't we?
A big thanks to my second photographer for the day, Kristin Cioffi, who rocks the house. This is one of hers.

• Out of the Office.

Just a quick note to let my loverly clients know that I'll be out of the office through next Tuesday. My phone will be on me, but you'll need to leave a message. I will be answering email within 24 hours, but order production will be on hold until I get back. I am up to date with all print orders. If you haven't finished up your album orders, you may do so when I return.

July-October are crazy busy! If you need to book a portrait, you may do so by shooting me and email for availablity, but act soon because the calendar is filling up!

Michele and Mark were married Friday at Brant Point, with a reception following at The White Elephant Hotel.

Just a sneak peek before I call it a night. Here's wide-eyed Gramercy! Don't you just wanna pinch those cheeks!?

• Piper + Mark's Nantucket Wedding

Piper and Mark got married last night (4th of July!!) at a private home in Wauwinet. Everything from the table settings, to the jewelry, to the hats, to tiniest detail was unique and special to them. They have a great group of friends who helped them pull it all together.

Darya Salon did Piper's hair.
Maureen Sullivan and Nantucket Island Events were there to help with food and drink service.

I love photographing the wedding of another artist, particularly another photographer, because I feel like I have so much freedom!

I'm about to get a little blog happy here because I have so many favorites!

Just came back from getting my haircut at Darya Salon. I highly recommend their services to all my brides. They don't disappoint!
