• Shakespeare in the Garden.

The Nantucket Arts Council held a fundraiser for the 4th annual Nantucket Shakespeare Festival at Beverly Hall's Hither Creek Gardens in Madaket last night. The evening included a performance of Twelve Night, singing, fire throwing, and a silent action.

Beverly asked me to photograph the event and create a book for her. I'm guessing it's gonna be a colorful book!!

• Truck Fire!

I saw smoke from my backyard about an hour ago and grabbed my camera. A truck was on fire on Nobadeer Farm Rd in Nantucket. The tires were popping one by one, sounding like explosives! I hope everyone got out safely.

Good job Nantucket Fire Department for putting out the fire!
