I love new gear.

The nice UPS man just brought me my new lens, amongst other goodies. I like that guy. It's an 85 1.8, a lovely portrait lens. Ava couldn't care less, here's proof.




My winter/off-season goal WAS to shoot more outdoors. You know, snowy Nantucket harbors, etc. But I haven't seen a flake of snow since one day in November. Hmmm, global warming is no joke. The daffodils are a foot tall in my dentist's back yard. Of course if they bloom now, they won't bloom again in the spring. What kind of Daffodil Festival will that make?!
